Trance can be a difficult genre, but a trio of talent couldn't make it look any easier. "As The Rush Comes," beautifully builds together the talents of three names, Achilles, Lister, and Jesse Lee Thetford. Within the track, a darkness unfolds through crisp production techniques and epic melodies a foot. The percussion creates a certain type of stomping that helps set a confident type of mood within. There are breaks within the tension, where colorful chord progression juxtapose the intensity that plays out.
This track is a cover of a 2003 classic by the artist Motorcycle. From all accounts Achilles, Lister, and Jesse Lee Thetford tackle this version with grace and style, putting the release into a modern framework that hits the spot.
Achilles and Lister are Melbourne based names that continue to have their production skillset tested and proved. Their releases have been supported by names like Hardwell, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Timmy Trumpet, W&W and Afrojack - it doesn't get much better than support on this level, especially considering the genre.
