Asher Shashaty, Strung Along, And Misdom Collab On Celestial Single, 'What I Need'

Starting the new year off with a hot streak of singles, artist Asher Shashaty is on his way to the top of the bass scene. There has been tons of hype centered around his upcoming album, Astral Spring, releasing on February 17th. In the midst of this excitement, Asher has put out songs that will be featured on the compilation, such as his recent transcendent hit "Urban Forest". Now, Asher's newest track, "What I Need", is the next sneak preview that's building momentum for Astral Spring.

"What I Need" is a collaborative project with the talented artists of Misdom and Strung Along. Misdom is known for his vocal work with the likes of Ghastly, Hekler, Whales, and other renowned electronic artists. On the production side of things, Strung Along flawlessly blends elements of future bass, dubstep, and trap in his songs. Together, this trio delivers a powerful future-oriented bassline, along with reality-distorting effects. Layered over the instrumental are angelic lyrics from Misdom.

This festival-ready anthem is just one of many for the gifted Asher. Over the course of his career, Asher has cultivated a signature style that electrifies listeners. This special sound is a melting pot of Asher's personal life experiences and hardships, musical influences, and artistic vision. A prime example of this is "What I Need", as it showcases a promising auditory experience when Astral Springs drops.
