Fresh off her latest single “Tequila,” which saw her step into an exciting new dancehall and reggaeton direction, emerging talent Effayé has returned with yet another banger, this time going even harder on “Miss Effy.” A song about “the wild fire within a woman’s heart" and "letting your flame come out to play,” as the artist explains, “Miss Effy” sees Effayé step into a darker and rather club-focused territory, with dancehall beats and infectious melodies perfectly complimenting her vocal lines.
Effayé hails from Malmö, Sweden, and started releasing music back in 2013, taking on a genre self-described as “dreamy soul.” As her career progressed, she took her talents to more genres, such as pop and rap, while embracing the influence of her Middle Eastern roots. Effayé had an impressive 2021, with international collaborations with the likes of JEGELA and Lazee, and is certainly on her way towards taking over the music industry next year.
