Emerging Dance Star EQRIC Shares Impactful New EP “Dark Lies”

International success can only be achieved with hard work and dedication, and Canadian emerging star EQRIC definitely knows that. Having already shared more than 10 singles this year on some of the most prestigious dance labels out there, EQRIC is seemingly only getting started, even through he just reached 1,5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, and over 40 million collective streams on his catalog on the platform. Supported heavily by radios around Europe, most notably SLAM! Radio, as well as massive acts such as The Chainsmokers and Sam Feldt, EQRIC is without a doubt well on his way towards establishing himself as a dance music mainstay.

Marking probably his biggest drop to date, EQRIC has now just shared his 3-track EP Dark Lies via Nightblue Music & Deep Universe, bringing along impressive collaborations and infectious, sultry vibes. Including vocal performances from Britt Lari and Joanna, Dark Lies makes up for the perfect soundtrack to late-night drives, as well as steamy nights on the dance floor, with its atmospheric melodies, warm low and the radio-ready arrangements. This is definitely one of EQRIC’s best works to date, and we can’t wait to see where the young Canadian takes things next.

“‘Dark Lies’ encapsulates a meaningful stage in my life, sharing an original body of work using the artistic styles I’ve developed throughout my musical career,” explains EQRIC. “I worked closely with Britt Lari and Joanna to write this collection of original songs, and designed the album artwork myself, to create a unique and cohesive EP.”
