Storytelling producer Luquado has just shared his debut single “Love,” returning back to his electronic roots after more than two decades of music experience. Luquado has been using instruments to tell stories for as long as he can remember, playing the piano from a very early age and later being led to production due to his fascination with games and computers. Over the past couple of decades, he has produced and worked in funk, rock, pop, hip-hop, and acapella as a producer and/or artist with massive success.
Luquado spent the majority of 2020 working on a batch of new tracks he’ll be launching this year, with “Love” kicking things off. Boasting a sonic palette inspired by the likes of BT, WYNNE, Mako, and Forester, “Love“ is truly a stunning sonic journey. As a self-taught musician, Luquando fully displays his DIY ethos on “Love,” acting as a producer, songwriter, singer, designer, and animator.
“This is a really personal song. I wanted to evoke the introspection that comes from late-night drives when your mind quiets down and your thoughts can surprise you,” says Luquando.
