Having experienced massive success with his viral hit “Free” back in 2019, Mateo isn’t letting anything stop him towards his rise to the top. The 17-year old Dutch producer has received support from the likes of Lost Frequencies, Nicky Romero, and Brooks, as well as seen his tunes enter the Apple Music charts, peaking at #55 in Belgium. Having released with labels such as Get The Sound, Spectrum Recordings, and - most recently - Soave Records, the future is definitely looking bright for Mateo.
Marking his first release in 2021, the talented producer is coming back to Soave Records with “One Day,” a summer-ready house single with a distinct tropical flair. Mateo is known for combining pop and chill house, adding a lot of melodic elements in the process, and “One Day” definitely showcases his skills in doing just that. Driven by an infectious topline, the single starts off with smooth chords and organic percussion, before transitioning into a feel-good drop filled with tropical sounds and good vibes.
