Rising Talent Sintra Shares Ruthless New Single “Boss"

Earlier this year, Nashville-based artist Sintra independently shared his debut single “Break,” and immediately watched it amass incredible praise from the scene. After receiving support from g-house don Dr. Fresch and securing an upcoming gig alongside Steve Aoki, Sintra has now unveiled his second single “Boss,” and we couldn’t be more excited to present it to you.

“Boss” makes up for a stunning display of Sintra’s boundary-pushing style, developed after the artist got his first taste of electronic music while at Bonnaroo music festival in TN. While “Break” takes a more minimal approach with its rolling basslines and ambient vocal samples, “Boss” doesn’t hold anything back, quickly exploding into a series of drops driven by massive synth growls and gritty bass stabs.

“‘Boss’ was the song that started it all. I was searching for a new direction and at the time was feeling inspired by the music I was hearing in the bass house scene. One day I sat down in the studio and told myself, ‘you know who you are, just enjoy the process and have fun with it.’ I made ‘Boss’ that day, the Sintra project was born shortly after,” explains the artist about the song’s creation, and the origin of his project.
