'Madonna' A Slick, Smooth House Release Is A Must-Hear From Sherm And PODS

Hailing from the bustling scene of Chicago, Sherm has teamed up with the energetic duo PODS to drop a tech house single, "Madonna," courtesy of the well-respected Hood Politics imprint. The track is a real nod to the underground, mixing a steady, simmering beat and funky bass lines with a catchy Daft Punk-esque vocal sample, creating a hypnotic rhythm that’s hard to ignore.

Mike Lelito and Dom Fortuna, known as PODS, stepped up as big players in Chicago’s house scene in 2022. They’ve really embraced the city’s vibrant house culture, releasing some infectious tunes and sharing the stage with renowned names like Flume, Tchami, Galantis, and Acraze.

Then there’s Sherm - he’s been around the block, supporting the likes of Armin Van Buuren and Galantis, spinning decks in major cities, and playing a big role in shaping the direction of Hood Politics Records.

On top of all this, Sherm’s been hosting a variety of global acts on his podcast "Sherm In The Booth," further cementing his place in the electronic music scene.
